Collecting personal information

We will not collect or monitor any personal information about you without your consent. The only personal information collected is provided voluntarily by you.

Personal information is collected when you book online, on the phone or complete a questionnaire with us at the time of engagement.

When you visit this website, we use Google Analytics to collect website statistics. This data is collected in aggregate only, and we make no attempt to identify individual people from this data. Collecting sensitive information

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy sensitive information means the information you have disclosed to us about you, your child and any associated educational/psychological/cognitive/physical diagnoses and reports, mental, physical health and wellbeing issues.

Sensitive information will only ever be used for providing services to clients. Such information will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes without consent, except in cases when disclosure may be required by law or is necessary to protect the rights or property of Pontoon, or any member of the public, or to lessen a serious threat to a person’s health or safety. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy sensitive information is a subset of personal information.

Using and disclosing your personal information

Personal Information will be used for the following primary purposes:

  • To fulfil obligations pursuant to a client’s request for Pontoon’s agreement to provide services, products and/or any other agreement between him/her/they and Pontoon.
  • To render services to the client.
  • To record non-identifying statistical data for analysis.

Personal information will only ever be used for providing services to clients. Such information will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes without consent, except in cases when disclosure may be required by law or is necessary to protect the rights or property of Pontoon, or any member of the public, or to lessen a serious threat to a person’s health or safety.

Storage and security of personal and or sensitive information

We take all reasonable steps to keep secure personal information recorded and to keep this information accurate and up to date. The personal information is stored securely if in digital format. If in paper format, the paper copy is stored only for such time as required. We are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal and/or sensitive information held. We only permit authorised personnel to access your information, with consent, and information will only be disclosed to third parties where they have the appropriate authority and when consent is granted.
